I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself a little better and share some about why I am doing this and the best feelings I have gotten from my current members.
I have many different things I like to but some of my favorites are training dogs and I craft just about everything. I care a ton about people (for the most part) treat my dogs like my kids (maybe better!! :] okay not really but pretty close haha) and love the outdoors- when its not -80 (kidding) but honestly I am over the bitter cold!
So a little why I do this now! Last year my family had changes and we lost coverage.
Pick up where you left off!!!!
I was trying to narrow down and sort through the 80 options I was given and it caused me to delay because I wanted to make sure I picked the right one that we could afford. This made me forget to keep scrolling on different days and of course I missed my deadline!
I was hesitant already because I felt/feel health insurance is expensive! with premiums alone but then to add in deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and out of pocket it was pretty crazy. Are income was not bad but throw in this cost and well! face do we eat or pay insurance?
So once I dealt with this and started learning what I needed to I realized that I wanted to help people like me find the health plan. I decided I wanted to contract with pretty much all of of the companies that ACA works with.
My thought behind this was this- When I attempted to ask for help the people I was talking to were super nice but normally with one carrier. This made it hard because most of the time it was carriers I could not really afford and this happen every time I talked to someone! So it was time spent on seeking help and not sorting plans by myself.
I decided that I wanted to be able to take the information I needed and run it through ALL of the options to make sure I get the right plan for my members.
I am a small independent agent trying to help! and my strong point is NOT marketing! I seen a post on LinkedIn from Ron Killian that I could say yup! your right! lol! I have NO IDEA WHAT I AM DOING! but I can not pay the fees associated with help in this area! YIKS!
Anyway back to my postIndependent health insurance agent sharing her story and helping individuals, families, businesses, and Medicare clients find the right coverage at no extra cost.
So far those I have helped has made me feel good because I did exactly what I needed to so they could have what they need and sometimes more! all cases are different!
I share this because I want all to know who I am and why I do this. My assistance cost nothing as I am paid by the companies (who have to add commission by law so- meaning prices do not go up because of agent assistance! I have seen comments around this and wish everyone knew that is not how this works). If you work with someone who is charging you then they are not being compliant! Plan costs are based on your personal life style, health, habits, and so on! Agents are not to increase costs, so if they do please stop using them

I really care about people and hope I am able to help you somehow! Individuals or families, Medicare Supplement or Medicare advantage, and Businesses. I fight hard for what you need and sometimes it takes a bit longer but the outcome- as of now- has been great and my members are happy!
